CED - Community Education for Development was formed in 2019 by a coalition of teachers, community members, and parents to develop and build connections in the community. It started with an after school program that blends hands-on learning, computer coding, gardening, and group activities for elementary and middle school students. It expanded to Summer Conversations with teens about mental health issues. Community seminars addressing health and wellness for adults were added.

Focusing on the strengths and traditions of our community, CED aims to prepare students for success in life and build a strong and vibrant community through innovative engagement.
